THINGDOMS

A modular world made from emotion, character, and tone.

Thingdoms is an ongoing art project I began in 2021. It started as a generative character collection—but has since evolved into a larger, experimental system for building a world through emotional logic instead of linear narrative.

At its core, Thingdoms explores how characters, visuals, and moments can be composed like music: using tone, mood, and frequency as creative architecture. The project combines hand-built artwork, structured metadata, and generative tools to create scenes, vignettes, and signals that emerge gradually over time.

Thingdoms isn’t a story with a plot. It’s a soft, surreal world that reveals itself in fragments: through visuals, scripts, field notes, and emotional signals. Some outputs are created by me, some guided by AI—but everything is built from the same emotional and structural logic.

The original collection—10,000 Things—acts as the foundation. Each one is a unique emotional composition, and together they form the cast of the world.

Thingdoms is not finished. It probably never will be.
It’s a living system. A slow signal. A kind of emotional internet.
